Meg had a short guest appearance as herself in episode 7.03 'The Reunion' of the seventh season of the popular comedy show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. This episode and the next ones deal with a possible reunion of the entire old Seinfeld cast. Meg's scene is with Jerry Seinfeld.

You can read a recap of the episode here and watch the scene with Meg by clicking on the thumbnail or link below. Judging from this episode and previews for the next two episodes, it seems Meg will be making one or more further appearances!

Several newssources, including The Hollywood Reporter, bring the news that 'Serious Moonlight' will be the opening movie for the Austin Film Festival, which starts October 22nd:
"Serious Moonlight" will shine on Austin as the 16th annual festival's opening-night film. Penned by the late writer-actress Adrienne Shelly and directed by Cheryl Hines, "Moonlight" will screen Oct. 22 at the Paramount Theatre.

(...)This year's lineup includes 24 world and U.S. premieres. The weeklong festival and conference, which focuses on screenwriters, will also include Oren Moverman's "The Messenger" as its centerpiece film.

Elle Magazine Fashion Stories Collection

Elle Magazine asked Norah Ephron for their annual Fashion Stories collection this year. Norah Ephron asked several of her friends, including Meg and Rosie O'Donnell, to write a short piece for the 'Love, Loss and What I Wore' Fashion Stories collection.

I have scanned both Meg's story - 'In The Soup' - and the guest editor piece written by Norah Ephron introducing the stories and background of the Fashion Stories collection.

The orphanage, schools and garbage dump which Meg mentions in her story are run by Scott Neeson. He was one of the big bosses in the moviebusiness untill a few years ago, when he left everything behind and sold his assets to set up several programs for the children living on a huge garbage dump in Phnom Phen, Cambodia.

If you would like to know more about The Cambodian Children's Fund and their work please take a moment to visit their official website. Several of the photos on that website were taken by Meg during her visit.
